On 1 September, NASA astronauts Jeff Williams and Kate Rubins made a spacewalk to make various changes and repairs to the outside of the International Space Station (ISS). A trailing thermal control radiator located on the P6 truss was retracted to protect it from space debris. A new high definiation camera was installed on the P1 Truss. The spacewalk lasted nearly five hours with the airlock being depressurised at 1146 GMT and repressurised at 1841 GMT. All event times courtesy of Jonathan McDowell.
