The Soyuz MS-03/ISS-49S manned spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) at 1047 GMT on 2 June. It was carrying two passengers, Cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy and Astronaut Thomas Pesquet. Astronaut Peggy Whitson, who rode into space on the spacecraft, remained on board the ISS to return to Earth at a later date.
Once undocked from the ISS, SOYUZ MS-03 conducted some engine burns to assume the correct position for re-entry. The final re-entry burn occurred at 1317 GMT with re-entry occurring at 1347 GMT. The parachute/rocket assisted landing/touch down occurred safely in Kazakhstan at 1410 GMT.
