It looks a bit like the old British Aerospace (now known as BAE Systems) logo to me but here it is and one wonders how many thousands of pounds did it cost to design? The logo is for an agency that will bring under it all the space projects related funding previously held by its predecessor the British National Space Centre “partnership”. Its first annual budget will be £230 million and by September its first strategy is supposed to be drawn up. With a general election expected on 6 May and the governing Labour party expected to lose, the incoming government is unlikely to spend time on dismantling a £230 million government body.
