On 1 July 2020, NASA astronauts Chris Cassidy and Bob Behnken conducted another spacewalk from the International Space Station (ISS) to change out batteries. After depressurisation at 1108 GMT the airlock hatch was opened at 1112 GMT. During the spacewalk Li-ion battery 0026 was removed from EP9 slot D and installed in S6/1B slot 6. The NiH battery 0089 was removed from S6/1B slot 5 and installed in EP9 slot D. An adapter plate was removed from EP9 slot D and installed in S6/1B slot 5. The astronauts made some preparations for their next spacewalk, routed some cables, but an attempt to remove an old fixture from one of the solar array masts failed. The airlock hatch was closed at 1711 GMT and it was repressurised at 1714 GMT.
