Two navigation satellites Beidou 3 M10-S (Beidou 30) and Beidou 3 M11-S (Beidou 31) were successfully placed into orbit by a Long March 3B/YZ-1 launched from the Xichang launch site. Lift off was at 1756 GMT on 29 March. The two one metric ton satellites are part of the Chinese Beidou (Compass) constellation and were sent into a 21535 x 22193 km, 55.0 degree inclination Medium Earth Orbit (MEO).
