China completes initial version of Gaofen navsat constellation with latest launch
After a previous technical delay to the rocket, China successfully launched Beidou 3 G3Q navigation satellite to a GTO (Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit) at 0143 GMT on 23 June 2020 on a Long March 3B/G3 vehicle from Xichang. The Beidou spacecraft is last needed to complete initial operational condition of the Beidou (Compass) constellation. (Corrected from earlier version: No damage was caused by first stage).
