China successfully launched a Long March 2C (3) (CZ-2C (3)) vehicle from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre, China at 0601 GMT on 5 March 2022. The vehicle was carrying the SAST-built Yinhu 2-01 to 2-06 satellites owned by Galaxy Space which will be used as prototypes for a new low Earth orbit broadband constellation, similar in concept to the US sourced SpaceX Starlink system. In addition to those satellites, a small remote sensing satelite called Xuanming Xingyuan had taken up a rideshare place. The SAST-built satellite is owned by Space Wish company, China.
