China has underlined its position as leading space launch provider in terms of nationality. A Long March 4C (CZ-4C) was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 2344 GMT on 26 February. The spacecraft aboard was the Ludi Tance radar satellite. Under four hours later, a Long March 8 (CZ-8) rocket was launched at 0305 GMT from the Wenchang Satellite Launch Centre on Hainan Island in Eastern China. The payload consisted of 22 satellites: Tianqi-19, Hainan 1-1 & 1-2, Chaohu-1, Xingshidai-17 (Dayun), Jilin 1 High Resolution 03D-10 to -18, Taijing III-01 & IV-01, Xidian-1, Qimingxing-1, Chuagxing Leishen Wenchang 01-1 & 01-2,
