The crewed Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station at 0916 GMT on 3 June 2018. The crew aboard were Roscosmos cosmonaut Commander Anton Shkaplerov, NASA astronaut Scott Tingle and JAXA astronaut Norishige Kanai. The three men had a 168 day stay in orbit. The spacecraft made a de-orbit burn at 1147 GMT. Just before planetary re-entry the Soyuz spacecraft broke into its three sections at 1214 GMT: the discardable service and orbital modules, and the crewed descent capsule. After its fiery re-entry which began at 1217GMT, the re-entry capsule successfully deployed its parachute system, and with a braking rocket fired in the last seconds before touchdown to reduce the “bump”, the capsule landed on the Kazakh steppe at 1239 GMT. Recovery forces landed in helicopters nearby. All times from NASA via Jonathan McDowell.
