Launching at 0318 GMT on 20 June a Chinese Long March 6 (CZ-6) rocket carried Shiyan-25 into LEO. The mission took place from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Northern China. Like many of its Shiyan-series siblings this satellite is only described as an “experimental satellite”, but it is stated these will revolve around “Earth-observation technology”.
