Following its launch from Cape Canveral, Florida, USA, the reusable Falcon 9 stage B1060 has joined B1058 on 16 successful launches and landings – the current record for SpaceX. It successfully landed on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas located downrange in the Atlantic. The Falcon 9v1.2FT Block 5 launch itself took place from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA at 0350 GMT on 16 July 2023. Aboard the launch were 54 communications satellites (Group 5-15) for the Starlink constellation. These were the last of the Starlink v1.5 series before SpaceX carries on with its larger v2 Mini bus design and eventual v2 Standard platform satellites – the latter to be launched by Starship.
