A Soyuz 2-1b launch vehicle was successfully launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Russia at 2058 GMT on 25 November 2023. It carried Cosmos 2572, an electro-optical reconnaissance satellite. The spacecraft was put into a low 318 x 302 km sun-synchronous orbit inclined at 96.6 degrees relative to the equator.
