At 0425 GMT on 27 April 2014, a Proton M/Breeze M launch vehicle was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome near Tyuratam, Kazakhstan. On board were two communications satellites heading for a GEO (Geostationary Earth Orbit): Luch 5V is a Russian data relay communications satellite; Kazsat 3 is a communications satellite being launched for Kazakhstan. Both spacecraft were built by ISS Reshetnev.
