PSLV launches Spot 7 and a variety of cubesat-class spacecraft

At 0422 GMT on 30 September a PSLV launch vehicle successfully launched the 714kg Spot 7 Earth remote sensing satellite from the Sriharikota launch site in India.  Also aboard was the AISAT for the DLR which is carrying a ship tracking payload, a pair of CAN-X spacecraft practicing formation flying, and the Velox pair carrying out an inter-satellite communications experiment.
