At 0020 GMT on 26 October, Russia launched the third Progress re-supply mission of the year to the International Space Station (ISS). The flight took place from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, near Tyuratam, Kazakhstan, and utilised a Soyuz 2-1a rocket. This mission was Progress MS-21 and the freighter reportedly carried 2,520 kg of cargo, fuel, and water supplies to the station.
After being placed into low Earth orbit, the freighter approached and docked with the ISS Poisk module as planned at 0248 GMT on 28 October 2022.
