Satellite and Launch Orders – March 2025

The following construction and launch orders for the space industry were announced in March 2025:

Construction Orders:

Airbus DS has won a contract to provide a lander for the ExoMars rover – replacing Russia, which was originally supposed to provide the component

Thales Alenia Space received a construction contract for JSAT-31 GEO comsat

Swissto12 cinched a contract from Singapore-based Astrum Mobile to build a small GEO comsat using its Hummingsat bus

D-Orbit signed with Eutelsat for RISE GEO servicing mission for one of its satellites

ESA RAMSES asteroid mission attracts two CubeSat partners

US military plans refuelling test missions involving Tetra-5, Tetra-6 and Rooster-5 spacecraft

BlueLink Satcom plans its own Blue Tooth sat

Inflatable drag sail demo gets a go from ESA

Launch Orders:

MaiaSpace secured a multi-launch contract to lift ExoTrail’s SpaceVan delivery spacecraft

Isar Aerospace’s Spectrum rocket received a contract to launch two Arctic Ocean Surveillance (AOS) sats for Norway after winning AOBA launch from ElevationSpace

Firefly Alpha rocket to launch INCUS mission for NASA from Wallops Island

Three Cubesat EZIE mission signed to Falcon 9 Transporter 13 mission
