Satellogic, the South American newspace company, announced on 4 May a new contract with SpaceX to launch 68 of its Earth observation satellites on an unspecified number of future launches. These missions are set to begin in “early 2023”. The parties are currently working through a previous agreement – signed in January 2021 – for four Falcon 9 launches.
The extant agreement has seen four satellites fly on the Transporter-2 mission in June 2021 and a further five on Transporter-4 in April this year.
