A Progress 2.1a rocket was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome near Tyuratam in Kazakhstan at 1101 GMT on 4 April. Aboard was the Progress MS-11 cargo spacecraft which followed a “very fast” approach set of manoeuvres ahead of its docking with the International Space Station (ISS). At 1422 GMT – only three hours 22 minutes after lift-off – the spacecraft docked with the Pirs module of ISS.
