Russia successfully launched a Soyuz 2-1A vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome near Tyuratam in Kazakhstan at 1555 GMT on 18 March. The craft was carrying the Soyuz MS-21 craft with a crew of Cosmonaut’s Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov and WAS planned to dock with the ISS after a two orbit rendezvous taking three hours.
Update on 18 March 2022: After a small problem necessitating a switch to a manual docking mode, Soyuz MS-21 docked with the Prichal module of the ISS at about 1912 GMT on 18 March.
