Canadian launch startup SpaceRyde has secured multiple launch agreements with ISILaunch, a launch services subsidiary of Netherlands based Innovative Solutions in Space B.V. (ISISPACE).
The companies agreed on a multiple launch agreement which will see four private SpaceRyde commercial launches for ISILaunch on SpaceRyde’s Ryder rocket and Flying Spider balloon launch system, starting in 2024. The flights will set customers back US$250,000 to launch payloads of up to 25 kg.
ISILaunch will offer customization options for the SpaceRyde flights including scheduling up to four weeks prior to launch, and offering different custom orbits and fairing configurations.
In a statement SpaceRyde’s chief revenue officer, Negar Feher, said: “A gap exists for fast and reliable access to custom orbits in space at a competitive price. These four launches are only the beginning.”
