SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9v1.2FT Block 5 from Cape Canaveral, USA at 0533 GMT on 23 December 2023. The launch vehicle was carrying Starlink Group 6-32, a total of 23 second-generation constellation V2 Mini Starlink satellites. The B1058 first stage, on its 19th flight, landed on the drone barge “Just Read the Instructions” located in the Atlantic. Update on 26 December 2023: While not related to the launch itself, the record breaking B1058 was effectively lost after extensive damage when it fell over in choppy weather onto the drone barge during its return.
SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9v1.2FT Block 5 from Vandenberg, USA at 1311 GMT on 24 December 2023. The vehicle was carrying SARah 2 &3 – passive radar receivers.. The B1075 first stage, on its 8th mission, landed at Landing Zone 4 back at Vandenberg.
