Launching at 0937 GMT on 22 August, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried 21 satellites into LEO. The mission took place from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, USA, and marked the first as part of the Starlink constellation’s “Group 7”. These 21 approximately 800 kg “V2-mini” satellites are expected to populate an orbit at circa 525 km, 53 degrees inclination once they have raised their own orbits.
The B1061 first-stage landed on the drone barge Of Course I Still Love You located in the Pacific at T+ 8 minutes 29 seconds. This is the 15th launch of this first-stage.
