Taikonauts (Chinese astronauts) aboard the Chinese Space Station (CSS) conducted a manual remote undocking involving the unberthing from the forward port of the Tianhe-1 module at circa 2150 GMT on 7 January 2021 and moving it using the station’s robot arm first before its release. Tianzhou-2 was re-grappled with the robot arm and reberthed with the Chinese Space Station’s (CSS) Tianhe-1 module forward port. This was completed by remote manual control at 2355 GMT on 7 January 2022. The Tianzhou-2 has been moved before. In September 2021 it was moved from the aft to the forward port of the Tianhe module to free up the aft port for the Tianzhou-3 cargo craft.
