Cargo spacecraft Tianzhou 3 successfully undocked from the Chinese Space Station’s forward port on 17 July 2022 at 0259 GMT. According to Chinese space authorities, Tianzhou 3 “will re-enter under ground control at an opportune time”.
The re-supply vessel originally docked with the aft port of the Tianhe module of the Chinese Space Station on 20 September 2021. On 19 April 2022 it undocked briefly from the Space Station to move to the forward port, making way for the arrival of the re-supply freighter Tianzhou 4 at the aft port on 10 May 2022.
